stems runs stable audio 3 medium — stability ai’s open model, in its fast 8-step form — on your mac, through a small background brain. the plug-in asks; the brain writes. no queue, no upload, no connection needed once it’s set up.

1. installopen stems.pkg. it puts the plug-in and the stems app on your mac.
2. the model, oncethe stems app sets it up: ~7 gb with your free stems key, or from hugging face without one. got stems loop? it uses that copy.
3. playin logic: track › audio fx › audio units › s7ems › stems. press play so it listens, pick a part, write.
